1. Our commitment

BizLift is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and treat accessibility as an ongoing practice, not a one-time project. We do not claim third-party certification; we describe below what we do and where we are still improving.

2. Measures in place

  • Semantic, structured HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers can navigate by structure.
  • Skip-to-content link and logical keyboard tab order on every page.
  • Visible focus styles on links, buttons, and form fields.
  • Labeled form fields with instructions, error handling, and consent checkboxes that are never pre-checked.
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG AA thresholds for text and controls (Microsoft Fluent palette).
  • Responsive reflow — content and controls adapt from 320px upward without horizontal scrolling.
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative elements hidden from assistive technology.
  • No autoplay audio; videos on this site start only when you press play.
  • Plain-language content with short paragraphs, descriptive link text, and answer-first Q&A pages.

3. Known limitations

  • Third-party embeds. Video samples hosted on third-party players and map tiles on partner sites are not under our control; their own accessibility applies. Tell us if you hit a barrier and we will provide the content another way.
  • Older downloadable files. Any legacy documents are being converted to accessible formats on request.

4. Testing approach

Pages are reviewed using browser accessibility-tree inspections (semantic structure, roles, labels), keyboard-only navigation, and screen-reader spot checks on desktop Chromium. Mobile and additional assistive-technology coverage is reviewed regularly.

5. Feedback & requests

If any part of this site is difficult to use, or you need information in an alternative format, email privacy@businessowner.app with subject "Accessibility" — include the page and what failed. We aim to respond within 5 business days. You may also use the contact form.
